The main structure of 20 steel silos of UGOOD Dalian Grain Storage and Logistics Distribution Center has been complete. The project is located in Dalian Lingang Modern Grain Logistics Industrial Park.
The main construction contents include twenty 10,000-ton grain steel silos, a 5,500-square-meter flat warehouse, road yards, related structures, supporting buildings, civil engineering, HVAC, water supply and drainage, fire protection, power supply, lighting, control, communication, and safety and environmental protection measures.
Faced with many challenges such as heavy tasks, tight construction period, narrow site, and bad weather, the project department closely followed the construction task goals, comprehensively coordinated and accurately implemented the construction schedule, and provided effective guarantees for the efficient and orderly promotion of construction.
During the construction process, the project department combined the construction characteristics, actively carried out innovative and efficient activities, adopted the electric chain inverted installation construction technology, and reasonably applied the three-dimensional operation mode of "first installing the top and then installing the wall", transforming the traditional "positive installation method" into "reverse construction method". At the same time, the project department simultaneously promoted intelligent construction, using BIM technology to realize digital management of the entire construction process, providing a more intuitive and comprehensive project view for the majority of operators, further improving the level of refined project management, and effectively saving construction period and project costs.
This smart granary standing by the port is not only a "ballast stone" to ensure people's livelihood, but also a "test field" for scientific and technological innovation. In the next step, the UGOOD silo project department will continue to uphold the concept of "scientific grain storage and green development", and with a spirit of striving forward and full bow string, promote the subsequent equipment installation and intelligent commissioning work with high standards and high quality, build a "high-quality granary" with ingenuity, actively serve the national grain macro-control, and contribute to protecting regional food security.
